How to delete your data

This page explains how to delete the data HouseMe.ai holds about you, including conversations with Paige, The Agency's AI real estate navigator, on Facebook Messenger, Instagram, SMS and our website and app.

How to request deletion

Any one of these is enough:

1. On Messenger or Instagram: send the message DELETE MY DATA to Paige in the same conversation. She will confirm that your request has been passed to our team.
2. By email: write to dev@houseme.ai with the subject "Delete my data". Tell us your name and how you contacted us (for example, your Facebook or Instagram name, or the phone number or email address you used) so we can find your records.
3. In the HouseMe.ai app: if you have an account, open Profile > Delete Account and confirm, or use the form on our Delete your account page.

Requests are processed by our team, not automatically. We may contact you to confirm the request before deleting anything.

What gets deleted

• Your messages with Paige on Messenger and Instagram, and any comments we received from you
• The link between your Facebook or Instagram profile (your page-scoped or Instagram-scoped ID and profile name) and our records
• Your lead record: name, phone number, email address and the details of your enquiry
• Your Paige chat history on the website, the app and by SMS, and the messages exchanged with your number
• If you have a HouseMe.ai account: your profile, saved homes, favorites and search history

What we may keep, and why

• Records required by law. Real estate, tax, anti-fraud and record-keeping obligations can require us to retain a transaction or contact record for the period the applicable law sets.
• MLS compliance records. Our agreements with Bright MLS require an auditable record of listing data access for the period those boards set.
• Your opt-out. If you asked us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record of that request so we do not contact you again by mistake.

Nothing kept for these reasons is used to market to you, and it is deleted once the required period ends. Messages you sent remain in your own Messenger or Instagram inbox, which Meta controls.

How long it takes

We delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request, except for the records described above, and confirm by email or in the conversation where we can.
